Steve Eisenhauer graduated from Sheffield Area High School in 1949 as a 4-year letterman in football, basketball and track. He attended Admiral Farragut for one year, where he was All-Conference in football. In 1951, he was accepted into the US Naval Academy where he played linebacker and guard. In 1953, Steve became the 1st Warren County football player to earn All-American honors. After leaving the Academy, he played on several Marine teams including the Quantico Base team and was named All-Service a number of times.
