Nikki Bialas Harrison

Basketball, Class of 2010

Dr. Nikki Bialas Harrison is one of the most accomplished female basketball players in Warren Area High School history. A 6-foot forward/center, she scored 1,430 career points, the highest total among female players at the time, and collected nearly 900 rebounds. She helped lead the Lady Dragons to Tri-County Athletic Conference (TCAC) championships during her junior and senior seasons, playing alongside fellow teammates from the class of 1989 that remain lifelong friends. Nikki earned four varsity letters in basketball, three in softball, and two in volleyball. A team captain in basketball and softball, she received honorable mention All-State basketball honors and first-team TCAC recognition as a senior. Her No. 42 basketball jersey was retired following graduation.

Nikki continued her basketball career at Cornell University, competing at the Division I level for the Big Red. During her freshman season, she earned Ivy League Player of the Week honors before a knee injury ended her collegiate career during her sophomore year. She remained involved in basketball while attending medical school in Philadelphia. Beyond athletics, Nikki pursued a career in medicine and continued her love of fitness through running, joining the rEVOLUTION women’s running group in 2009 and completing the Warren Superquik Half Marathon that October. Her achievements in basketball, leadership across multiple sports, and continued commitment to athletics established her as one of Warren County’s standout female athletes.
