Warren area Tennis enthusiast, coach, and supporter. Jeff initiated the formation of the Warren County Tennis Association which was responsible for the refurbishing of the Betts tennis courts and supported many tennis tourneys in Warren; formed the Warren Tennis Juniors which offers tennis instruction for Warren's youth; Transported many area youths to USTA tourneys in PA and WVA; Organized annual trips to Hilton Head for adults and juniors to attend the tennis-university; Coached tennis at Warren Area High School for several years; Formed the WAHS Tennis Club in 1984; Gained Varsity Sports status in 1989; In 1993 formed the girls' tennis team; WASH Boys' Team from '91-'99 had a record of 142 wins and only 2 losses (State and National Record with 140 consecutive wins!); WASH Girls' Team from 1993-1999 won 101 matches and only lost 14; During 16 seasons, Jeff had 19 players go to the PIAA State Championships; 45 Players went on to play at the college level (numerous received athletic scholarships); Jeff has coached tennis in the Special Olympics; directed summer adult leagues; captured the Warren Team (Chautauqua League); Jeff's honors include: USTA, Allegheny Mountain Division Coach of the Year; Jeff also served as an assistant coach for the Edinboro University's Men's & Women's Tennis Teams.
