Emory Mahan

Auto Racing, Class of 2003

Emory Mahan raced stock cars from the late 1940’s and raced until the early 70’s. He won several championships at local tracks including Dicky-Ben’s Speedway, Roll-o-Bowl, Stateline, Eriez, Skyline and Smethport. In the 1950’s Emory was among the first to race in the newly formed NASCAR circuit. He raced in his ’57 Chevy known as “8-Ball”.
